how to trace location of sender on gmail

You got many emails from many peoples and from around the
whole world. And sometime you even got emails from people who are unknown to
you. It could be spam or phising pages. But I will tell you a simple trick to
know trace location of email sender. Many emails services like yahoo mail,
gmail, rediff mail etc. provide you the access to get header from the email.
After getting header of sender’s email, we can use many online email header
tracing services like ip2location.com
to get location and ip address of sender.
Ok first of all. Let me explain you what is header.
Email Header: - Your email does not contain full information
about email. It only contains subject, attachments and message body. So, to get
full info, we can use email header. Email header contains information of
transmission, message. Ok it’s enough.

Let’s start some tweak.
Step 1- Open the email service you are using. For this
tutorial, I am using my email on gmail.
Step 2- Open the email you would like to trace.
Step 3-Click on Show Original just after Reply on the top of
message body.
Step 4-A new tab will open, showing you the header of email.
You can also get ip address of sender in header. Select full header or press CTRL+A
and copy it.

Step 5-Open the below URL in browser.
Step 6-On the webpage, paste header in Email Header form and
click on Lookup button.
Step 7-On the next screen, scroll down, and you will see
location and other useful information about the sender.
Using this trick you can get location of sender of email. So
that you can know who is frauder and who is not. When you get spam or viruses
