How to become an ethical hacker

Last time, I told you about some best books for hacking. In this article, I will tell you how to become an ethical hacker. Yes today you will learn how to become a hacker. Because a right guide can help you to learn hacking very easily.

No One is secure now a days. But I am writing hacking and cyber security related articles on this blog. So that you can learn about hacking and secure yourself from bad guys i.e. black hat hackers.

About some time ago, some of my friends was asking me how to become a hacker, how to hack computers passwords, how to hack accounts and blah blah blah. So this post is for my those friends who wants to learn hacking and wants to master it.

The tips and tricks, I am telling you in this article are used by me and some of my hacker friends who started learning hacking from beginning.

• Basics of all Operating Systems
  Linux is favorite operating system of hackers. You should learn to use it and its terminal commands. Learn its file system and explore more information about it. You should not only learn linux, but learn about other operating systems like MAC OS X, OpenBSD, Windows, Android etc. One of the best way of learning these is to run and use these as your preferred OS one by one.

• Networking
  Its not about how become a networking expert. I am just telling you to learn basics of networking only like LAN, WAN, DHCP, IP Address, SSH etc. This will help you a lot in hacking. Simply search on google about basics of networking or you can download pdf.

• Programming Languages
  Learn some of the important programming languages hackers. Most important programming languages for hackers are C, C++, Java, HTML, PHP, Javascript, Python., Perl, Ruby. The easiest language to start to learning programming is HTML and Python. Python is used to make hacking tools and Ruby is mainly used to write exploits.

• Virtualization
  Use virtual box and vmware to setup hacking lab and use multiple OS. These are some of the softwares to install many OS in one virtually. But it requires a lot of RAM in your PC for working correctly and accurately. VM Ware Workstation is paid but you can use Virtual Box for this task.

• Database
  Learn about database and SQL (Structured Query Language). It will help you in hacking website database using SQL injection. Learning SQL language is very easy. Also learn about working of database.

• Cryptography
  One of the easiest way to secure your data is encryption. Encryption is process of encrypting and converting data to unreadable form, so that it can be open and use only by its owner using a secret key. And the process of converting the unreadable data to readable form is called decryption. This encryption and decryption process are called Cryptography. Its recommended to learn if you wants to become a good hacker.

• Reverse Engineering
  Reverse engineering is process of debugging or changing the code of any program and make it work as per your thinking. But, to successfully engineer a program you need to learn assembly language. Although, its not easy to learn assembly language. It is completely different from other programming languages. You need to practices a lot and work hard to learn this language. Learning reverse engineering takes time.

• Solve Problems
  Problem solving is essential skill of hacker. This skill will help you to learn a lot. And this is my favorite. When some one ask me solution of any problem in their computer, I happily help them to solve problem. I got very interesting and happy feeling when i see any error in computer.
• Be Up To Date
  Always be updated, because when you start learning hacking online, you will hear or read about new term everyday. So always visit website daily who gives you latest information and content about hacking.

I think hacking is not so tough to learn. Because I learnt hacking using some pdf ebooks and online resources like websites, youtube videos etc. You can too learn hacking and an become ethical hacker.
